Karate at KTAC

Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center is proud to serve as the host facility for the Sorano Goju-Ryu Karate Dojo, under the leadership of Shihan Chieko Huse.  Students learn self-defense while practicing a wide variety of traditional Japanese exercises in Karate.  The Karate program includes physical fitness and prioritizes the safety of all students.

Shihan Chieko Huse is a Member of the IKGA.  He is a 5th Dan Master Degree Black Belt with thirty years of experience in Japan, California and Washington.

Karate Participation

Students age six and older are welcome to enroll in the Karate program

Karate Program Schedule

Karate Classes are held Monday and Friday from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00am
