Capacity Restrictions for Tennis Camp Registrations
In Phase 2 we can have a max of 16 kids in the regular camp. 1 instructor to 4 kids. Mini Camp is max of 4 same as above. Capacity levels need to be kept to Phase 2 requirements.
Call the center to see if there are any openings in the week you are registering for. We are on modified hours for the center so please call between 9 to 7 M-F and 9-6 Sat and Sun. You can also leave a message.
Once we go onto phase 3 we will update the capacity levels.
Summer Tennis Camps
Member Pricing: $120 per week | Non-Member Pricing: $140 per week
Ages: 9-17 | Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9am – 12pm
Once again KTAC will offer summer junior development tennis camps that have sparked generations of kids’ to become lifetime tennis players. Stroke production, games, match play and more. We have a fun team oriented atmosphere and group players by level and experience. Train smarter, not harder!
We are following CDC and local health department guidance and will provide a safe and fun camp experience. Kids will need to bring their own tennis racquets, court shoes, water bottle and towel. and expect to keep in mind social distancing and follow camp rules. Sunscreen and a visor or hat is recommended for sun days.
Mini Tennis Camps
Member Pricing: $60 per week | Non-Member Pricing: $70 per week
Ages: 4-8 | Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9am – 10:30am
This is the perfect introduction for younger kids’ aged 4 to 8 years old. We teach in a fun first way that gets kid’s playing and hitting the right way. Hand eye coordination, movement skills and team oriented group learning that makes tennis the best first sport for youth. We are following CDC and local health department guidance and will provide a safe and fun camp experience. Jennifer Anne Shorr – Director of Tennis
Elite Certified by the USPTA, Jennifer holds more than sixty professional and national titles and once held the record for the women’s fastest serve. Her resume includes competing on the women’s pro-tour and attaining sectional, national and world ranking.
William Herbert – Camp Director
Will began his teaching career in one of our Centers very own tennis Summer Camps more than 10 years ago. He has also taught at Matrix Tennis Academy and Paseo Racquet Center in Arizona. With an extensive background in teaching all levels and ages, he has a specific passion to help junior tennis players by training them to become champions both on and off the court.
Ben DeVries- Assistant Tennis Pro
Ben is a top USTA sectional tournament player. At Bainbridge High School he qualified for the State Championship each of his four years. He attended Western where he was the top player on his college club team. Ben loves Working with players of all ages and abilities and is also open to sparing sessions.
